Final Words

My sister Summer Storm aka Tammy Jo Peters has passed following a short battle with cancer. I do not have her gift for words. She is and will always be missed by her family, friends and fans.

News

Hello my readers and friends.

I need to pass on some news.

My cancer has returned. Found out on Wednesday. It has travel to both of my lungs and spread so quickly it is not operable. Chemo and radiation does not work on the type of cancer I have. Oncologist has started me on a drug that will hopefully keep it in check and/or reduce the cancer cells. This just frickin sucks.

That being said, I’m going to keep fighting this shit. It will not get the best of me.

I’m still working on The Lovers but it is taking sometime. I’m exhausted all the time and have been napping a lot. Still working my job. I’m exhausted when I get home.

I bought Dragon Speak so I could just speak what I want to write and guess what, I can’t get the damn thing to work. Keeps saying my mic is off when it really isn’t. Gong to call tech support tomorrow.

I want to thank all of you for being patient with The Lovers. I promise it’s coming.

Love to all of you,

Summer

I’m back and ready to get moving

Hey everyone. I’m back and ready to dig back in. As I noted before, book 2 will be delayed. So here is the update since the surgery. Docs believe they got all the cancer when they removed the kidney. They also removed some lymph nodes and took a bunch of sample from all around to have them tested. Cancer was found in the lymph nodes around the kidney that they had removed, other samples showed no indication of cancer. So right now  it’s a CAT scan every three months for the next three years.

So now that all that is out of the way…

Anyone who had signed up for my newsletter you will need to resign up. Something happened and robots were allowed to add names to the list. There were thousands of emails added by robots. So list access has been updated and moved to use Mail Chimp. So if you had signed up for my newsletter please go to my website, summer-storm.com, and resign up. You will be sent an email to confirm you signed up.

So I’m in to book two around 45K words, which is just a little short of half way through. I’m getting back to writing now that I’m feeling so much more like myself. Sex scenes are flowing. I wrote a scene in Quin’s sex club (shhh don’t tell anyone about the sex club) that I’m told in really intense. Let’s just say in involves a whole lot of the male species and one woman.

I just want to say thanks to all of you for being patience as book two moves forward.

Hugs and kisses to all.

Summer

P.S. Here is something for all of you.

My Dearest Readers

My dear readers,

I have been putting this off but I can’t any longer.

I was diagnosed with cancer in my left Kidney. They found three masses. It will have to be removed on Monday. The last two weeks have been rough. Tests. appointments and a shit load of blood taken, ending with see the surgeon to find out there may be a complication with the surgery.
After the MRI results came back, one of the cancer masses has sprouted what the surgeon calls a tendril. It has made it way into the major artery connect to the kidney. He won’t know what to do until he gets in there. There are two outcomes. 1. If it is still free floating it will pull out with the kidney. 2. If it has attached itself to the artery wall. This makes the surgery more complicated and they will have to remove that piece of the artery. Good news is my right kidney is healthy and no signs of the cancer in any other of my lower organs, lungs or brain. As my daughter and mom told me, “you can live with one kidney”, so very true.
Well there it is. I’m doing good. Once I found out what it was all I wanted was the game plan and timeline. I don’t know what to say other than I’m keeping a positive attitude and I will kick this thing.

Needless to say this will delay the release of The Lovers, book two in my Enigma series till early fall. I will be down for a couple months and may not get everyone an update till then.

But just to leave all of you on a good note here is another teaser.

Love to all of you.

Summer
